Who is Miffed! (Prominent Occlusion)?

Miffed represents the part of us that could be happier and living a better life. He feels he does not have enough time and lacks balance in his life. He hears what he wants to hear, thinking that makes things easier for him but he does not have full knowledge of the financial world.

The bomb represents things real, imagined, and feared. Inflation caused by central banking, the United States debt spiral, state control, war, a black swan event, and plans of those who would take his property are present. Something or many things can blow his hat off—but may orange pill him (make him study, understand, and adopt Bitcoin) at the same time.

The hat is his need to keep a lid on things and keep himself together…but it is open which represents his vulnerability to outside negative forces. Hopefully some positive forces will find their way in.

One ear is prominent but is closed to what is real. He is hearing what he thinks he wants to hear while being flooded with highly produced messages telling him to consume, stay entertained and not worry about inflation. He is overwhelmed by misinformation and lies of commission and omission from weak prejudiced reporting. He is being gas lighted by sources he thinks he can trust. He must work harder to find truth through the noise and develop a stronger desire to find other sources. A new way of thinking is necessary. One problem is he struggles to see this need from inside the system he is in*. If lucky, he will find the right people to listen to. He needs a new community.

One ear is open but small. It seeks the truth and strives to find deeper meaning. A world of correct information is available but can be hard to find. He heard about Bitcoin out of the corner of his ear one time. He didn’t look into it but it did give him an orange hair. There is still hope.

His eyes are closed. He has given up looking for a better answer. He would be better off reading books than watching his cell phone and being distracted by entertainment. He doesn’t know where to look though.

The chain represents being tied down to the traditional financial system. He doesn’t see a viable alternative. He was born into this system and is unaware of Bitcoin’s potential.

The shrinking dollar signs represent both inflation and the inability of his investments to substantially outpace inflation. As he generates the resources his family needs to live, his purchasing power is dropping away below his feet. He is told this should happen a little per Keynesian economics and that it’s a proper thing—it is not. It doesn’t need to be this way. Real inflation is running higher than The Fed’s target and what is reported. His wealth is being taken from him and redistributed. Also, the threat of future hyperinflation looms in the background. There is a way out.

The open safety pin represents his desire for safety but he can’t figure out how to secure it. He has willingly given up some freedom to get what he is told is more security. This presents a danger because it will skewer him. He is vulnerable, exposed. The pin can only bring him the security he wants if he is willing to stand up for his freedom. He must take action.

The strike-anywhere match represents an untapped well of potential within his heart. He wants to be free and care for his family but he hasn’t found the path. Just like Dorothy’s ruby red slippers, that always had the potential to take her home in The Wizard of OZ, Miffed can now become a sovereign individual when he sees how to do it. Bitcoin is the way out.
